Well, let me know if it is the right one, and when it is, share the URL of the trader. There are about ten people I knowe off-hand who are ready to kill for that thing Dragon, huh?

Anyone who has had the misfortune to see my real temper would agree. DRAGON. I just don't get mad often and I can't hold a grudge at all. I've tried and it doesn't work.
I'm leaving for shopping soon. I just keep putting it off because it's always so crowded on Saturday mornings and it'll take me at least three hours to shop. Thank goodness I like grocery shopping.

I hope you survived the shopping trip undented... The episodes downloaded just nicely And the translation seems to be good, too. Sanzo and Gojyo argue (love that ep). Hakkai turns demon (scary!). Sanzo lights a cigarette for Gojyo, but he's not cute at all.

I love the bits at the end of reload!! I just can't wait to see what they come up with next. Sanzo the reindeer was My all time favorite. When it comes out on DVD in February I am going to be so happy! Of course it will be weird because it will have new people as the voices, Wish they could keep the same ones. At least the movie will have them. Of course who knows when ADV will put that out!

I"m still down loading so I haven't been able to watch yet. Both have under an hour, so by the time we eat dinner, they should be done. My future Daughter-in Law cooked tacos for us.
I survived the trip nicely. The postal employee chastized me for not getting my mail more often. I picked up a huge bundle, but no OVA. Will go online later to find out the status of my order.
New voices. I was sad at first, but since I listen to these episodes in Japanese anyway, maybe It won't matter. Maybe Geneon will do a better translation too, since they sponser Reload and now Gunlock. Got to go eat, don't want To hurt Holly"s feelings.

Please, can anyone give me the URL to the site where you all download your Saiyuki? The site where I have been downloading has only Reload up to 15.

Oh, both episodes were so good, espescially after cartoony Gunlock. What I really liked about the first one was the chance to see the 2 different groups interacting. It isn't really very often that Sanzo and Gojyo get a chance to interact without Hakkai being there to protect Gojyo. It was cute the way Hakkai thought of how they were(n't) getting along when he and Goku were trapped. I liked Goku's reaction to how scary Hakkai was without his limiters.
The ending to the second one was so sad. Even my Husband sighed when the boy died. I had always thought there had been an argument for Gojyo to leave at the end. Now, thanks to the dialogue I know he just slipped out during the night. I really can't wait for the next one to be done.

Yes, those eps are wonderful. And so very sad. Like you I have seen the rest raw, so I'm really looking forward to see it subbed.

cesmith: No, there was no fight... at least not a direct one. He didn't even expect Hakkai's help, or trusted him to share his plan... it was just Gojyo all on his own.
In a way, it shows how much the group still is at odds with each other.

Which is kind of funny, them being at odds, because Gojyo and Hakkai tend to back each other. If he had said something I bet Hakkai woukld have, just as the other three backed Hakkai when he went to rescue Yaone in the original series.
Just thought of another time Gojyo diodn't get backing for one of his personal quests, the Gunlock episode with the female half-breed (number 10?). He went against Sanzo's orders there too, but that's Gojyo, bucking authority.
Went online to find out about the delivery. They were shipped out the 28th of August, so if they're not at my PO box by Friday, I'm going to Email them. Three weeks should be enough time.

Minekura's official website is back, yay! www.minekura.com So maybe we can just pester her with our questions, after all. Now all I need is some instant Japanese language knowledge... Hakkai rescuing Yaone was a very different situation - Hakkai was the only one conscious at the time of the fight in the inn (if that is what you are referring to). I think what make Gojyo *not* asking Hakkai was when Hakkai said the thing about Gojyo's "rebellious stage"... He probably figured that Hakkai wouldn't so openly rebel against Sanzo, seeing as to how they are connected. After all, Gojyo is free to go, while Sanzo's still (officially) responsible for Hakkai's actions.

I was wondering about this 'Sanzo being responsible for Hakkai'-thing. Nowhere in the manga or in the anime (the Japanese verision of both) is it said that Sanzo is responsible for Hakkai. On the other hand, it doesn't say that he is not responsible. That's why I think it's an interesting interpretation. He could very well have that responsiblity. But even if he has, Sanzo has a deep respect for Hakkai. And I think Hakkai could rebel against Sanzo if he thought there was a good enough reason.

It's mentioned in the Burial Arc, Reload Manga (translation taken without permission from: sfusion.spymac.net/translation/ ) : Sanzo voiceover: "Cho Hakkai", previously Cho Gonou. Committed mass murder while seeking lover's revenge. A young human who turned into a youkai. Sanbutsushin: Indeed, so it would not be wrong to say that these two persons are strangely both heretics of human and youkai cross. Sanzo: At present, these two people are living together. So far, there has been no problems. Sanbutsushin: Mm. You see, Genjo Sanzo, you volunteered to carry the responsibility of keeping an eye on Cho Hakkai yourself. We entrust the process of influencing how that person will turn out to be in you. But no matter how you have decided to see into this matter, the fact that Cho Hakkai is a criminal will never change. You must never forget that. Sanzo: ...I will keep that in mind. And yes, Hakkai would certainly give Sanzo a piece of his mind.
