Well I don't know about anyone else but I am all happy. Anikraze is back in session. Episode 17 is up so we can move on. Now we will hold our breaths as it downloads and hope it solves something.
(we Know better but can you blame us for Hope?)
Anyway I thought others around here would want to know.

No, don't sit on it. Watch it and just think how much you want to see the rest...then watch it again. I have the rest of the RELOAD series raw, so I' m looking forward to the subs. Thanks for letting us know it's up. I'll start my download before work. I can't wait to get home tonight and watch it, and I haven't even left for work yet!!! Oh, the joys of fandom, gets us through our days.
Got home a little early and the episode was done downloading. All the give and take in the dialogue that I could only guess at, right in front of my eyes, waiting for me to read it. Heaven, blissful joy. I do want more!, but I will follow my own advice. I'll watch it again in a little while. I still have to find out if Gunlock is up yet. I've already read the summery for the episode, so I have an idea what it's about, and I can't wait. I am so impatient, and bouncing. Must be the caffeine in my French Vanilla iced coffee.

OptiMoose- These are my absolute favorite sites. They are two of the best Saiyuki websites I ever found. Before I started downloading the raw episodes I used to go to the screenshots website to "watch" them. I have some of the best pictures thanks to that site. My favore Uru Sai pictures came from there, Sanzo in his Reindeer costume , Gojyo's bowl haircut, Goku taking the limiters off of Hakkai, Hakkai drawing Goku's eyes open in the dream one. Madkukkii is the one I always go to for my summeries, and I've had the joy and enjoyment to sit in on some of her live Nammer-Yammers. When RELOAD used to be on at 6:30 PM in Japan, her live Yammer would start at 4:30 AM NY time. Since I get up at that time anyway, I just had to make sure I got to the computer before my husband. (Possession is 9/10ths...) Her best one was the one she did for April 1st, the first episode of Saiyuki RELOAD Gunlock. That April Fools joke got me to the end, though I did wonder how she had written so much in only a very few minutes. Now that it's on at either 1:30 or 2:00 AM (Think that was either 12:00 or 12:30 PM, NY time), I'm usually at work, but I have caught one live Yammer thanks to the Strep throat one of the kids at school gave me. I love her trivia facts and the information of what's happening in Saiyuki fandom in Japan. I also love her new Journey to the Rest Stop. She seems to have so much fun with her life. How did you find these websites? I did an internet search on Saiyuki about 10 months ago and after trying lots of sites, just going down the lists, I stumbled on to hers, which then led to the snapshot site. Come to think of it, I tried my first Fanfiction through her website, something with corn in the title, can't remember the rest. Guess you can see I like these sites. Whenever I talk about the sites I go to stay connected to what's going on, I'm refering to these two.

I found them when I was looking for scanlations/translations, more on chance than anything else. The April 1st one was the hoot. Too bad that that wasn't a real episode! I think I would've died laughing at some point.

I know I laughed like crazy when I realized I'd been fooled. That was the day I had Strep throat from one of the children at work. I had never been so happy to be sick and get to stay home. That was the only reason I caught the live Yammer. It made the April Fools joke all the funnier, because she caught me as the event happened.

Yes, it was really a very believable plot, until the point where everything went slightly weird and I thought "Wait a second..." But even after that, it stayed fun to read.

I fell for it probably up to the end. Hey, I had Strep and a fever of 101, but I was not going to miss the Yammer.

Hello, and Good Morning. I usually try to pass on the Madkukkii website to eveyone. I still remember when I first found it, after about a month I couldn't get on and I was so depressed, my only connection to Saiyuki was gone. Couple days later she was back up. Can't remember what happened, but it's listed on one of her pages. I do remember that this website was where I first found out that "Requiem" existed. A Saiyuki movie, I couldn't believe it! Finally found it on bittorent and downloaded it. It was the first thing we ever burned on our new DVD burner, and I watched it. It was so beautiful.
When you go on the Madkukkii website, don't forget to go to The Journey to the Rest found at the bottom of the page. That is her opening page and gives current information. When my AOL wasn't working I learned how to type the whole address in by memory. The opening page was Madkukkii.com/saiyuuki/saiyuuki.html. I always either forgot the double k, or double i, or double u in Saiyuki. I check her every Thursday when I get home from work to read the summery, then drool until I can see the episode. (No, I'm not a very dignified person.)

There's a actually movie before Requiem, but it's near to impossible to get your hands on it. And I so want to see it! The images I've seen are promising.

Do you know the name of the movie? My son has lots of free time and is really good at finding things online. I remember seeing some movie or something on DVD that was described as a type of choose your own adventure. I cant remember what website I saw this on. I will have to investigate this.

I think it's just called "Saiyuki OVA". It's from 1999/2000. If your son finds it anywhere for download or sale, please let me know. The Chose your own Adventure is the most recent installment. It's mostly rehash of of Gensoumaden and Requiem scenes, but it has a couple of hilarious new scenes in it - like Kanzeon getting SAnzo & gang to do her dirty work by threatening to make it "so that the credit card won't be accepted any more". The result was amazing.
