Is MJJ the person form Aestheticism.com? She's the one that translated Wormwood, the Saiyuki story I recommended. Thank you for the links. I had wondered if anyone translated the current chapters. Even though I love looking at her artwork in the Mangas, it's nice to at least know what's going on in her storyline.
I need Hakkai to cook for me tonight too, not just clean. Paul and I went to the New York state Renaissence fair today. Saw Mud Wrestling, a Human chess game, a very funny, but very bad Magician, belly dancers, a jousting contest (Maid Marrion beat The Sheriff of NottingHam) and an enjoyable performance of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Fun and even a little culture.
Rotating schedules sounds good. Is Hakkai really the only useful one of the four? Come on, we have to think what the others can do for us, so they won't feel left out.
Me-Nuriko- I 'm glad you're feeling better. Don't push yourself too fast.

What the others can do? Well, we all know what Gojyo can do, hehe. But aside from *that*. He's good at gambling, that would mean he's good at reading other people. Maybe he would come in handy if we need anyone to negotiate in a business deal? On the other hand, we could use Sanzo for that, all he have to do is wave with his gun and we would have the upper hand of the business deal. Nah, to keep it legal, let's take Gojyo. Goku. He would be a nice baby sitter for those who have, not too small, and not too big, children. Sanzo. That's a hard one. Especially if we must keep it legal. Else he could be an assassin, taking care of all our enemies. But it's not legal, and even if it were, we would have to get us some enemies first. ;D But we know he likes animals and small children, right? We could probably use him to babysit the younger children, or walk our dogs. ;D Yes, I'm feeling better. If only I could get rid of the cough, I would be one happy woman.

Yes, let's stick with Gojyo on the buisness deals. We have to keep Sanzo calm, no guns. Walk our dogs huh? ;D In my area we have a pooper scooper law. I just can't see Sanzo scooping up the dog's wastes when it's done going. That mental picture is too much. It's stuck in my head. OptiMoose- we need your artist skills to draw that picture. With small children I could see him being like my Husband was with our first few children . When Sanzo needs a diaper changed,( the babies, not his) the baby will go to Uncle Hakkai . My Husband closed up more than one diaper and brought the baby to me to do. I think it's a good thing Sanzo is a Sanzo. Goku would be perfect with kids past the diaper stage.

cesmith: I already posted the link for the most recent Saiyuki, but here it's again: sfusion.spymac.net/translation/ I don't think there has been any Gaiden installment lately... Or has anyone heard anything different? cesmith: What artist skills? Besides... you seriously want me to doodel Sanzo sitting in front of a doggie poo, little shovel and baggie in his hand, staring at the poo, the dog staring at the poo too with a satisfied grin... ? I don't know, but Hakkai's and Goku's sensitive noses should make them bad candidates for baby care. Granted, Hakkai has great self control, so he might pull it through. Funny enough, I don't have any problem seeing Gojyo taking care of kids, no matter the age. He might get the diaper scare, but honestly, I don't blame him. Goku you can train to do pretty much everything. He's good at chopping firewood ("SAnzo made me do this all the time" - lol!) He can do the dishes and clean up a room (if you count in that Gunlock episode ), and he's very eager to help in general. Me-Nuriko: Oi, I thought you wanted things to stay legal? I can see Gojyo scamming the living daylights out of customers... Mhm... just picturing Gojyo & Sanzo as salesmen for vacuum cleaners or something like that, wandering from door to door to ensnare the housewives

OptiMoose- God Yes, that picture sounds perfect. You describe it even better than I pictured it. Sorry to be so Irreverent of our beloved Sanzo, but the Mental Picture really had me giggling. Blame it on a fun, but long hot day outdoors yesterday, looking at men in tights and women in corsettes and push up bras.
Loved the thought of Gojyo and Sanzo as door to door salesmen. They could sell to any female, just make sure the husband or boyfriends' not at home.
Chopping wood can be profitable, if you do enough. I have a neighbor that supplements his winter income by selling lots of firewood.

Thank you , thank you , thank you ;D! I have tears in my eyes from laughing. During my 1/2 hour walk I take daily I thought of your description (the Gunlock theme triggered the thought) and I started to laugh. People driving by must have thought I was crazy. The sign is sooo boring: New York State Pooper Scooper law Clean up after your pet. $100 dollar fine. Believe it or not, we've had Police Officers sitting on the jogging trail watching if people clean up or not. Look forward to your finished picture. Thanks again.

No, we can't let Hakkai change the diapers. He's already doing too much. ;D Legal? Oh, yes, sure. Seriously, I was thinking about Gojyo only reading the opposite part so wee wouldn't get fooled, not that he would do any cheating himself. (This is a serious matter, I hope you all understand that. ;D ) Selling vacuum cleaners? I'm not sure I would buy anything from someone as grumpy as Sanzo. Gojyo, well, a salesman that at the same time tries to get you into his bed... Nah, I don't think I would buy anything from him either. Or...? ;D Hakkai on the other hand... Oh, here we go again, back to Hakkai. Wonderful picture! It's just perfect. Just add a little doggy with tounge outside his mouth and a waving tail, or as you suggested with a satisfied grin. ;D

Poor Hakkai, he's just the most useful one of the group. It always seems to come back to him.
Yup. POOPER SCOOPER. Don't hurt yourself falling over, and laughing too hard. And remember, we elect the people who thought that up.

Me-Nuriko: What, you wouldn't let them sell you anything? Shame on you. Besides, that's why SAnzo is tagging along... to keep Gojyo from sleeping with every customer. Though, he would be forced to pleasently smile. I'm afraid tha twould cause indigestion. cesmith, Me-Nuriko: Hehe... a cute dog? I need to fine one first. The first few tries looked like a Star Trek Transporter accident. :/ And the name is just hilarious. At least, people will remember it. It's sticky. That sounds... wrong. Oh, is there any print on the baggies? I put just 'Pooper Scooper' on it, for now.

OptiMoose, Me-Nuriko : You do realize that if Sanzo has to keep smiling, and he has to keep Gojyo from trying to bed every female customer, that we might have to send poor overworked Hakkai with them, just to keep Sanzo from pulling out his gun and shooting Gojyo after only the first customer (maybe even during it).
OptiMoose: Pooper Scooper on the bag is fine. Some do have cutesy sayings, but most people just use the food storage baggies. Cheaper and they come in different sizes for larger doggie loads. Thank you for my morning chuckle. A transporter accident with the dog AND it's sticky. Oh Sanzo, beware our imaginations.

cesmith: Well, it would be a good chance to work on his self disciplin... One to pass the time: (might take a while to load) www.off-switch.com/Indikaatio/Art/gojyone.html(had a good laugh out of that one) And all I need now is to find a dog.

Sanzo and self-discipline in the same breath?
That was VERY funny, and scary and different, and I recognized his silhouette, which also scared me. How do you find so many hilarious things?

He has such a thing, I'm sure of it. But he's lacking patience. And the hilarious things... this one was courtesy of someone from an IRC channel I visit often. Other things, I often stumble into by accident.
