Visitate? *g* And I thought my friends and I were the only ones who did things like that!
Don't worry you guys, though thanks for the concern. The reason we don't have inet is because we've just moved house. We don't even have a phone yet! Heh.
The great thing is that I can, while unpacking, organize everything. My makeup now looks like a shop display! Very pretty... ^^
I wouldn't be able to survive without inet. My school's a laptop one, and we do a lot of research on the inet and use our laptops a lot. Bad thing is that I still have a bump on my finger from writing, since I write tons in my diary etc. *frowns*

We could still do the first gathering in Italy, if it would make it easier for you to attend. Hope you get your 'connection to the world' soon.

It's funny, I still write things out in long hand, before typing them onto the computer, since I only have computer access at home. I'm getting better at thinking as I type, but I still like the mess I make on paper. I also like my hand written diary. Just got a new one to start the New Year with. Found one of my really old ones, from when I was about 12. Had all my arguements with my Dad in it, but also where we actually started to talk together. Priceless. Found the one I used to write my original Poetry in also. Again, priceless for the memories. Not the best poetry, but I remember what inspired it when I read it. Wish I could find some of my old fanfiction stories, but I think they went the way of the Dodo. ;D ;D ;D I feel sorry for my coworkers today, I am in a weird mood. Got to go so I won't be late. Happy day to all and great inspirations if you are writing today.

I keep handwritten diaries because there's such a personal feel to them, and it is great when you want to ramble. Somehow the computer makes me want perfection, maybe because you can edit without making a mess.
I think as I type, but I've been using computers for a long, long time now.
If we did a gathering, would I be the youngest? *Feels like a small little girl-child*
Speaking of hand-written diaries and such, I recently found a loose sheet of paper from a journal which I kept when I was ten. It really, really struck me, because that was the period of time when all my friends ditched me and I was alone.
One of my fave parts is: "I know how they feel, all alone, for I've experienced it, sitting there by yourself like a hungry ghost."
I also bought a huge fat journal to put all the poems I can find that I have written. It's as personal as my diary to me, and I hate if anyone even touches it.

kitsune-oni - As far as I know, you would probably be the youngest. But that's only the age that is seen on the birth certificate. The real age is the age you feel, and I've always thought that once we've grown up and become adults, we all are the same age until our bodies or minds start to fade.
The way I see it: childhood - different ages, because you grow and learn adult - same age old age - fading, hopefully without regrets
I know some people don't see it like this. Those are the ones that takes adulthood very seriously. But I assure you, you can be responsible and still have the child inside you alive.
Now you can argue that 16 isn't an adult. True, but all us 'adults' have been 16 so we know something about it. Of course we don't know what it's like to be you, but that's true for us all in any ages. And beside, you being my secret twin sister, inspite of the age difference, I feel like I know you just a little already.

*g* Thank you. I feel as if I know you as well.
Sometimes I think I've aged a little prematurely because of some of the rough times I’ve lived through. (Some of you have probably experienced worse, though).
Furthermore, I'm turning 17 in.... 7 days!
(Edit: Does anyone have qualms about showing photos? I'm getting mighty curious to put a face to a name!)

I don't mind showing photos, just need to find one that isn't too scary. I HATE pictures. Don't worry kitsune-oni you may be the youngest, but I've got the lock on the oldest. I hope I never loose the inner child. It's what helps me smile on rough days and helps me enjoy all the things I do. Happy Birthday early. I'm excited, mine is next month!! Ice Cream Cake and presents .... ;D

Many birthdays coming up! Mine is in three weeks. You know, I doubt us fangirls can lose our 'inner child', they are too much of a part of who we is.

I agree age is all in the inside. I've met some "Adults" that act like middleschoolers and some teenagers who are very mature. I do dislike how some many people hit 23 or 25 and suddenly become stick in the mud adults. The just deny their inner child. So sad. You have permission to beat some sens into me if that happens. Anyrate the older I get the more I think that age is inmaterial when it comes to friends. With a few exceptions none of my friends have been my age. In fact, most have been younger than me. That is one of the nice things about this board. I'm no longer the old person ^^ As for pictures, You don't want to see pictures of my fat self.(I'm still working on getting the weight off from when I was sick) However, me and a bunch of people from SpA traded wav files of voices awhile back. So enjoy: www.silent-moon.com/Pics/SpA%20ppl/salmastryon.wav

Please do not remind me of the way too serious adult I had become when I hit 30. Hard not to sometimes when you have children and work and bills and responsibilities. Anime and video games helped bring the inner child back from a long hibernation and life is more joyous. It really is easy to bury it without friends to share with. "Old person", huh? ;D I don't know why, but when I play Diablo 2 online, I take great pride in telling the people I play with that not only am I a Mom of four but my age too. I always get such humorous remarks. Salma, your voice is far from the way I imagined it. It was fun to listen to it. As for weight, that's a constant struggle here too. Lost 25 pounds with 25 more to go. I just enjoy food too much.

I'm lucky when it comes to food because I have a fast metabolism. I'll listen to your voice when I get home, Salma, because I don't think my English teacher would appreciate me making any noise at the moment! I don't really like my voice when it's recorded. I like this photo of me, though you can't see my face. It was this summer, in my flat in Spain, wearing my new dress I've bought for either graduation or prom: www.livejournal.com/users/fadetopain/11542.htmlOne of the few photos I'm very pleased with.

Nice dress ^^
You don't look 17 on the outside either ^^
At least not like the seventeen year olds I see around here

I agree with Salma, you look more mature than 17. It's a lovely dress and a great color for you.
