It's been a while since any of us have left our editors corner to chat on the rest of the board.
I hope you were able to find a job. Going to Paris, St. Petersburg and Moscow would be a wonderful trip, though you have been lucky to be able to travel so much already.
Are you living back at home yet?
There's nothing wrong with trying to line up all your options early so you can be sure to meet all the requirements for your goals. Just remember to leave yourself time to enjoy and appreciate the age you are.
I hope you enjoyed Gunlock. I still have only seen the last 7 episodes raw, though Zell has been kind enough to rip the Hong Kong DVD translations for up to episode 17. Not the greatest English, but at least we can understand the dialog until Ani-kraze finishes subbing the series.

Well, school has finished for the year – it’s now officially summer holidays! We actually finished classes on Friday, but Speech Night was on Monday evening, and this being Wednesday, that’s it for the year. Reports have been received, also. I moved back into our house on Friday night, which means I am no longer a boarder, and Dad also arrived that day. That means I’ve been in a family house for five days, and am already coping badly. Okay, so I have a roof over my head, and we’ve all actually slept in the same house on the same continent for the last four nights, as mum is fond of pointing out, but nope, it’s not for me. I also have to wait until February until school begins again and I can get away from them all. Also, there’s Christmas. Maybe I can go to work that day, what a shame, I’ll just have to miss out on all the family goo. (Work, which I don’t yet have. I plan on being ‘young and overworked’ over the hols so I’m out of the house. I’m thinking about the local supermarket, or something on the strip of shops nearby, so I could easily walk. Problem is, I can’t legally work for another week or so. >.< )
Otherwise, that’s about it for now. ^^ Dad’s hinted I might get DreamWeaver for Christmas, which menas I’ll be able to have some fun with web layouts for the WorldWideWriters, but before that I guess I should probably get on with the writing… I guess I’ve just not had the sparkle for it lately – I’ve not written anything worth noticing for quite a while now…
And something was up with Gunlock! Kou was all barcoded and stuff, then guess who shows up? Hazel. I thought he was in Reload, not Gunlock - and Kou had no barcode. It just jumped around a lot - I think someone just recorded stuff and stuck it on a few discs, rather than it being in the right order, or somethin...*sad*

Kami-sama is in RELOAD, Hazel is in Gunlock. Kou was programed by Nii (That programming started in RELOAD in episode 16 I think.) and fought Goku in the first few episodes. You can find an episode by episode description at the link below so you can see if it is all mixed up or not. Except she doesn't do the Against the Stream arc because it is nearly word for word from the manga. It's a great website for anything Saiyuki and she puts up the manga scans with a running commentary in her LJ. (You need to friend her to see them.)

My favorite 2 episodes are numbers 9 and 11. AND where they first meet Zakuro and his mind games. His role is different in the manga than it is in the anime.
It can be difficult trying to live with your family again after being on your own for so long. I know we parents can be a pain and we forget how much our kids grow up without our noticing it. And we all argue with our kids too (*grumbles* at my own daughter who is 21).
Good luck on the job hunt.
*snap* That's the whip cracking for you to start writing. I liked the idea of the story you and Blood_Debt are working on and am looking forward to reading it.
