*blushes brightly* Thanks everyone...I was kinda feeling weirded out because I didn't write Saiyuki, wrote something on the darker side, and in POV. I've never even seen Saiyuki so I couldn't even try for that. I guess my first attempt at this fandom wasn't too bad then.

JeiC, that was your first fanfiction for FullMetal Alchemist? I would never have guessed. I've only seen a few episodes (I am downloading the last 21 episodes right now), but it seemed pretty on character to me. As much as many of us are huge Saiyuki fans, it really is nice to read some of our other favorites too, espescially when they are so well written. Now, as for never having seen Saiyuki , SOMETHING MUST be done about that. ;D

KarotsaMused, now would we talk about you? Only in the nicest way. I guess you are right about not being able to do a second chapter of Ears if it had been your contest fiction. I'd hate to have not been able to read Aziraphale's musings. Fangirl adulterated perspective or not, I still like your "42 Days" too.

*tosses her pencil at Salma's head and sticks her tongue out* Though I've read the other entries so far and I really like all of them. I'm not sure what else to say...

Wow... so now the voting phase of the contest has begun...
Difficult decision, giving every story the appropriate number of points.

Well, seeing as only four people have voted so far, I'm really beginning to wonder...

Current top-3 ranking (Nov. 4th, 3:55 am):
1. Contestant #5 - 36 points 2. Contestant #6 - 33 points 3. Contestant #2 - 32 points Contestant #7 - 32 points

Current top-3 ranking (Nov 8th, 9:33am):
1. Contestant # 1 - 64 points 2. Contestant # 6 - 62 points 3. Contestant # 5 - 58 points
However, the ranking result isn't fair, since some people apparently gave points to one contestant, but not to others... Please remember that this isn't a popularitity contest, but a contest about writing a good story, so please give every contestant appropriate points.

If different stories got different amount of votes, there is the possibility of dividing the points with the number of votes for each story.

It is rather simple actually to do a weighted average. In the case of the authors, we would just ignore one of the 1 point votes each, otherwise it will put off the vote. If you did that the results would be.... 1. Contestant #5 - 7.125 points 2. Contestant #6 - 6.77 points 3. Contestant #3 - 6.44 points Dunno what you'd want to do, but there is the math.
