*Squeaks*
Birthday? How come everyone else knows?
Have a slice of cake. And since it's virtual, it can be whatever flavour you feel like. Chocolate, strawberry, vanilla...banana, even...
The candles are here, but you'll have to add them yourself. The big ones are for ten years, and the little ones equal one. Or you can lie and pretend you're sixteen, or twenty one ;D

Thank you, all! ;D Birthday was a a funday - went to town with my mom and we had an all-girl's day out. I invited her for lunch, and we shopped a bit for clothes - baby clothes for my new niece/nephew (to be announced in February), and I got a cute jeans for my Godson. I really love just spending time with my mom nowadays - back in the old days when I was still a teen, all we did was fight. Strangely enough, nowadays I understand her reasoning back then and I'd probably do the same as she did if I had a daughter. *sigh* Does that mean I'm getting old? Salma: It's not as if I announced that it was my bday. Only Cesmith knew, and only because she specifically asked about it. Blood_Debt: that would be three big candles and five smaller ones - I'm 35 years old now. Geez, still can't believe that I'm so old. I never expected to become older than mabe 25 years or so.

^^;; that must mean I'm -really- old...my mother and I see eye-to-eye on most everything right *now* ... Anywho, yay for being 35! I don't know about everybody else's standards, but when common life expectancies top out at around 80, 35 sounds pretty young, hm? You're as young as you feel, right?

Hmm, I must put in more candles than you. If I say my daughter (who is the oldest of the bunch) is 23, you can take a guess. But I still haven't matured above 25 so I don't really know my age. As for mothers, well, my mother and I are very different, and I learnt early on not to worry her. That meant I never told her (or my father) when I was worried, or something bad had happened. It's a little better now, but there are still a lot I won't tell her. Me and my own daughter has never fought. We are very much alike, even if we of course have our differences. But it's very nice being fangirls together. Being a mother is a full time job, but with four children born in seven years, I can vote for that it's easier to have many children than just one or two. Most of my friends with one or two children complain a lot about all the work, but none of them with more children.

And I put on more candles than all of you. ;D My kids just won't put them all on anymore, they say it is a fire hazard. As for Mothers...my Mom and I have always gotten along beautifully. There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with her and just talking. The only time we EVER argued was when we were planning my wedding, 26 years ago. I wish I could say my daughter and I don't argue but we do, constantly and over everything. And we are constantly making up. Just the normal give and take in our relationship and neither of us can manage to stay mad at the other for very long. I love her dearly and I'm proud of her and I wouldn't have her any other way. Karot, only 80? I am past halfway, but if truth be told, I plan on pushing toward 100. ;D

I'm currently working on a one-shot. It ws supposed to be my entry for the 4th 42 Days Contest, but I didn't finish it in time. *embarrassement*
It's a Saiyuki-story revolving around Koumyou and Kouryuu, back at the time when Kouryuu was a four year old child...
Working title is "Want", and here's a small teaser:
The current word count is 4000+ words, but I expect it to end up around 4500 words.

The first part of the story is out. I changed the title. Desideratum Kouryuu, Koumyou Sanzo and a lesson learned under the shade of a Gingko tree. (A One-Shot in two chapters) www.fanfiction.net/s/2355580/1/

The second chapter for the story is out. Koumyou's Point of View... much darker, with some thoughts about Ukoku Sanzo. Enjoy.

Not quite a one-shot but... I've started a LiveJournal for my very own, personal 'Breakroom' version. You can find it at www.livejournal.com/users/the_breakroom/It's going to be mostly short snippets of the multiverse-characters who are gathered in my 'Breakroom' in between stories. It's pure fun and relax writing, has no real plot and I must warn you that there are many characters that you might not know. The 'Breakroom' idea was inspired by KarotsaMused's Breakroom.

(i'm a closet capt. scarlet fan!) SIG! out of all the marrionettes shows....i loved Scarlet the best....c'mon he IS indestructible after all! (is that like grovelly enough?)
and i would like to check out your lj if that's ok...wanders of to find breakroom- the breakaway!!!

eek! something happened to my message and it got broke up and something got doubled!....so the pretty pleases were supposed to come before the bit i said about wandering off to check out your lj. and the question of it being grovelly enough is supposed to come after the pretty pleases..and it supposed to come out only once!
i swear there must be a big bad worm hole of the internet that frequently does these things! anyhow there you go the're my question for the day....lots of love again!

Well, the Captain Scarlet story was submitted to the Fanderson fabclub and made part of one of their fanzines.... so I'm afraid the story is no longer available 'on the free market'. All my other Scarlet stories are not in English language, sorry (though that M.A.S.H.xSpectrum crossover story I co-wrote with another author might just be translated one day for the true insanity of it. *snickers*). If you're looking for Scarlet fanfic, try www.spectrum-headquarters.com - they have a huge collection.

A very short one-shot... Guilt Rating: M www.fanfiction.net/s/2462437/1/Summary: That day, Jien woke up drenched in sweat... Warning: dark themes, read inside warning! (With Jien's past, this deal with incest, hence the M-rating.)
