In preperation for the upcoming chapters of 'Slaves of Fate' and 'Simply Love', I've written a short Saiyuki piece. It's called "Sober Moments" and you can find it here: www.fanfiction.net/s/2095461/1/ Summary: When he was sober, he taught them how to fold paper planes. However, his sober moments were rare. (NON ShonenAi or Yaoi) (One-Shot, Complete) Warnings: Major character deaths. A tiny little bit dark.

Oh, my god, that was wonderful!
You've been toying with some of these ideas for a while on the board and you've put them together in one of the most possible and frightening futures imaginable.

Thank you! ;D I'm very glad you liked the Sanzo story. Yes, it ws mostly based on the one or other thought discussed here on the board. But I needed a bit of extra angst after the fluffy little Peaches story.

"Sober Moments" was a double, maybe even a triple, dose of Angst to counter the Fluffiness of "Peaches".

Me-nuriko. Do you think she's getting a little too cocky? She seems to know the hold she has over us with her stories. ;D
I just found out the next chapter is up!!! Happy dance and lots of smiles. I'll have to print it out and take it to work.

cesmith: Yeah. What are we going to do about it? We can't treat her like she treats the characters, because then we wouldn't get any more of her stories, and that would be sad. ;D P.S. Don't tell her, but I'm going to read next chapter now. OptiMoose: You're not reading this, are you?

When I left for work today the story wasn't updated yet. Thankfully, it is now, so I'll redo my happy dance. ;D Me-Nuriko, how are we going to keep it from OptiMoose how wonderful this chapter was? And at even 4400 words, it didn't feel long enough. ;D And another cliffhanger. And it was wonderful. ;D

Ch. As punishment for your insolence, I'm going to write on "Slaves of Fate" now. ;D *hugs* Thank you for the last four posts and the kind feedback. You two are incredible. You have that wonderful way to make me feel all giddy inside and ready to write a thousand pages just for your two. *hugs* Of course, you'll be rewarded by another cliffhanger in the next chapter of Simply Love, but first I have to take care of Gojyo and his hangover.

Heh, you're not very good at punishing, are you? ;D I can't wait to see next chapter of 'Slaves of Fate'. Cliffhangers, well, I would never lower myself to write such a thing. Wait, maybe I've done it once, or twice, or...^^;; *hugs* to you, too.

If all punishments were this pleasant, I'd get in trouble all the time. ;D I agree with you Me-Nuriko, I can't wait for the next chapter of Slaves of Fate either. You both are guilty of some pretty exciting cliffhangers. Cliffhangers are always welcome. You'll get no complaints from me. *hugs* too. We only tell you the truth.

Mmm... maybe I should give you a real nasty cliffhanger the next time? There's a little teaser for you two in the "Slaves" thread. Enjoy.

A real nasty cliffhanger means 2 things; we just finished reading a very exciting chapter AND there is the promise of an equally exciting chapter in the future. ;D I really do like cliffhangers.
