"Self-indulgent, un-betaed drivel?"
*sigh* Okay, treneka, let me point out a few things here. It's not self-indulgent, you're sharing it with us. And if this is un-betaed, I will be utterly blinded by betaed work - if you ever find a beta good enough to make a correction. (No offense meant to all fantastic betas.) And drivel does not receive five reviews in half a day. Sorry about reviewing here. Stupid little pop-up box thing is telling me I've already reviewed "Instructions for the Babysitter." It'll probably come up with a blank box. *shakes fist at screen* Sorry about that.
Seriously, you are one heck of a writer, THE favourite author on my list. (Ignore the fact that there are like, seven...) I haven't been so impressed with an author(ess) since I read OptiMoose's stuff.
If those two stories come off a good day and a bad day, well, for your benefit, I'll wish upon you many good days. Your benefit, because your angst is as good as your humour.
;D ;D Still grinning over that fic. *sigh* I love the finish...
"Oh my Go-" hehe

*giggles like a maniac* You are terrible (in that really really good way). It's hilarious. I laughed aloud various times and got funny looks for it. ;D I couldn't use it in Breakroom because you've already got the bases covered - how could I possibly improve? Unless of course the boys begin recognizing certain author styles and commenting on the patterns. If they ever get *just that bored* Also - You make me crave another reread of Good Omens myself. And, of course, the possibility of something more from you on the subject.

I've been headless-chicken busy lately, but I should have the beta back to you this evening. ^^ I'm not sure I can live up to elven dreamer's standards, though. *grins* Apologies in advance.
In fact, I'm catching up on fandom (finally), and I owe you a few reviews, an LJ nag by way of Permetaform, and an answer to your lovely question about Questions, which I haven't had time to write yet. ^^
Karot: I second that nudge.

WL: No hurry. No worries. The great thing about fanfiction is that it has no deadlines. =) Oh, and I set up an lj (and friended you).
Karot: NO NO NO! I will not write Good Omens fanfic. I cannot write Good Omens fanfic. I er... am deeply un-confident about writing Good Omens fanfic. I... ah... find myself... strangely tempted.... BAD KAROT!!
Did you ever think that maybe Aziriphale is a tempter playing for the other side?? *headdesks*
criminy.

I loved One Flew Above. I went to print it out and poked many of my Saiyuki-fans-friends to read, and one of them went all "This is REALLY creepy." and another said it was very good. ^^;; I conclude you rock.

Hi Whispering Hope! Pleasure to meet you, and I'm glad you liked the story. At the moment I'm hating that particular one so much I nearly deleted it, but that's my own inner drama queen speaking. *laughs* I'm having problems with a certain redhead.
Anyway, question for the peanut gallery: should little drabbly bits be posted to ffnet? I'm thinking of posting a "story" as a sort of catch-all for the various short miscellanea that I write, with each assigned its own chapter. Has anyone else done this or seen it done? Should I simply leave this stuff alone in my lj entries? Just curious as to what the concensus might be.
Now back to picking a fight between two characters - this 42 days stuff can be kinda hard...

I will try to resist not to to add a honorific to your name. x.x;;
I don't know, but the drabbles within story idea's been used...
You have an LJ? Can I pretty please stalk you? Only in a nicer way.

*yawns* I have got to learn to sleep some day. Until then, though, I have posted my mini-musings in what will be my short-short fic catchall. Them as likes can check it out: Four Part Hamony www.fanfiction.net/s/2232951/1/At the moment it contains one fic involving a cardinal, and another fic involving Hakuryuu with only two wheels. These were not remotely well thought out - you've been warned. WH: thanks for witholding the honorifics: tren-san sounds like something architectural to do with plumbing. You're welcome to stalk me if you like, just no pictures of the cats. My husband and I are trying to raise them in a stalker-free environment. *smiles*

Hehehehe
I especially liked the second one - Gojyo bribing Hakuryuu. ::grin:: I love how you hide what's happening until the end, and never actually say, just give the strongest implications and clues. I love it!

jackie idaho: Why is it some part of my mind cannot see your name without automatically thinking about Duncan and Gurney (of Dune fame)? Anyway, glad you enjoyed the drabbles. I'm rather proud of the first, and I think I learned my lesson from the second.
Anyway, at the moment, I am polishing a Seiten/Kanzeon piece and wracking my brain for a good Gaiden piece for 42-days. I have a plotbunny (finally) but I really need to know all I can know about what heaven's armies actually do. If anyone has links to canon references on the topic or, alternatively, can give me a synopsis of the canon army mission statement, please let me know. Specifically, I need to know what sort of enemies they face and what measures they take against same (seeing as how killing is right out unless you're the Toushin Taishi). Thanks in advance for any help.

Slight addition to last post: What are Tenpou's and Goujun's formal titles (and how the hell does one spell the dragon boy's name, since that just doesn't look right to me)?

Congratulations! In my opinion you're well worth the victory in Challenge #2. Your story was absolutely adorable, and as well written as you always write.
Tenpou's and Goujun's formal titles? Well, Tenpou is 'Gensui', mostly translated to 'marshal'. Goujun, I couldn't find any title. All I could find is that he's called 'king' in the scanlations. We have ordered the Japanese manga of Gaiden several times, but still haven't gotten it. It's always sold out. So unfortunately we couldn't check the title in the manga. The spelling should be 'Goujun' though. But when it comes to spelling... Well, the Sanzou-ikkou's names should be: Gojou, Sanzou and Gokuu (and Hakkai of course), so I don't know what spelling is the best to use.

Me-nuriko: Hey thanks for the information. I think I'm going to arbitrarily assign Goujun the title of Commander of the Western Army (just because I rather need a military-ish title, and as far as I can tell, he's superior in rank to Kenren, anyway). King just seemed strange, what with the lack of other royalty running around. C'est la vie. Ah, also, thanks for the congrats: I am tickled pink.
That's about it for Saiyuki at the moment - well, other than the fact that I finished another anecdote in the OFO universe. That won't be posted any time soon, since there's some pathology I need to verify, but I'm glad not to have to deal with Sha for a while unless I choose to.

Done done and done. There are all kinds of reasons I did not want to post the third anecdote in the OFO universe, but several people made convincing arguments as to why I should do it anyway. So I did, and it's done and that's that.
I suppose it's true that you never learn unless you sometimes leave your comfort zone, but there are certainly moments when I wonder if learning is worth it. *smirks*

*laughs* Well, I've posted something to ffnet, that I'd originally thought to leave elsewhere. Ah well. I think it works. Nightmares: www.fanfiction.net/s/2297660/1/Beyond that, I put a question to the board: my dear Miss Moose wants some Saiyuki angst sans romance. To me, that just screams for hurt/comfort, but I don't know which of the boys deserves a beating at this particular moment in time. So I'm asking y'all (note my lovely fake Georgia drawl): whom shall I hurt and why? That's it. I don't need any suggestions as to how - that situation is pretty much already set - but knowing the "who" will make all the difference.
