Thanks. "Whispered" are people who have special abilities, an enormous knowledge that is "genetically stored" and triggered at a certain age. Tessa already was a genious at a very young age - she designed the submarine in the story. Kaname only recently "awoke", and she's not very comfortable with her 'hidden persona'. Whispered are very rare, and since they have so much knowledge, they are "valuable goods" for the weapons industry. Oh, btw... the Soviet Union never broke up in that Universe - it's still a more or less cold war going on. And you want more Hakkai suffering? Well, let's wait and see, right?

Time, I need more time! How am I supposed to read all your fics, read all your book-, and fic-recommendations, watch all your anime recommendations. Plus everything I find myself and want to read and watch? I'm so frustrated. I guess I should mention having a life outside the fan world, too? Back to topic. Hakkai suffer? Yeah, more! ( I think it really is needed with that mental check up for us fan girls. ;D )

We are perfectly sane, it's the world around us that has a problem... ;D
My only solution still is less sleep and less housework. If anyone complains, it becomes THEIR job. Unfortuantly, no one complains.
Went shopping and got several first volumes of different anime. It's a good thing my Husband shares my addiction, or we might have had a problem. Got Get Backers, Full Metal Panic, the next Twelve Kingdoms(I liked it OptiMoose),and a cop comedy, Miami Guns. I also found a Dr. Who movie from the Sylvester McCoy years, The Curse of Fenric. Not many of his episodes made it to the US., so I haven't seen it. Now comes the familiar lament, Time, I just need more time. The nice thing is, at least there is something fun to fill all the time we don't have!

Poor Me-Nuriko! *hugs* I hope that you'll get a break from all the stress sometimes soon, and can relax a bit. Hakkai... Hakkai will have to deal with an issue or two. My beta knows more, of course. But since the chapter isn't finished yet, there's still much room for improvement, right? cesmith: Ohhh... shopping days! I love those! And you got all the goodies, I see. Glad you liked Twelve Kingdoms - it might not be as fancy as other shows, but it has its own charm. and... why not make it 'their' job anyway? Your kids and hubby are old enough. Well, maybe you can leave out the hubby, but at least your kids should do more of the housework than their mom.

Relax? Yeah, from experience I know the importance of that.^^;; Shopping manga/anime: There is this store in Stockholm... It's so dangerous. I always like to spend the money there rather then on unimportant stuff like food. ;D Heh, my sons are actually doing quite a lot of the work. I do the washing and some of the cleaning, but one of my sons makes dinner every day, and another one do most of the grocery shopping. And we all love manga and anime, except for my husband. Our favorites differ a little, though. My daughter is in a 'One Piece' mood, right now. One of my sons loves 'Naruto' and '.hack//sign'. Something that's on all our favorites lists is Full Metal Alchemist.

I love to cook (hate cleaning up, don't most chefs?) and grocery shopping (I know, I'm weird that way). It's the dusting I hate (and vaccuuming). The laundry isn't really a problem, my older ones do their own, so it just leaves me to do laundry for three. On the days I finally crash from lack of sleep, my Husband does everything, except cook. I don't want anyone to die because I let him in the Kitchen.
Anime vs food. Hard choice. Unfortuantly, we have too many places to choose from for Anime and Mangas. All I have to do is walk in the store to see what's new and the Anime calls my name and says "Resistance is Futile" I'm so weak.
My Husband and I like a lot of the same Anime, but we have our Favorites. My youngest son loves Naruto, Ragnarok and Inuyasha. My husband loves .hack//sign, both the anime and the video game. We play a lot of RPG's in this house too. My favorite is Diablo 2, online, the males in the house all like Ragnarok online. I haven't played for a while though, too many other things to use the computer for, they play all the time. My Daughter thinks Anime is dumb and that her Dad and I are weird for liking it. My older son likes Cowboy Bebop, Last Exile and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

Anime and Manga is also popular for my family. Though it took awhile to convert my brother.
One of his roomates in college traumatized him by forcing him to watch a Marathon of Ranma 1/2. He developed a severe dislike for anime after that until I convinced him to watch Castle of Cagliostro. Now, he watches lots of anime as long as it doesn't have a "high pitched, ear-bleeding, whiny, screechy japanese girl voices" in it. ^^;
Mom had always been addicted to fantasy and sci-fi, so it was just a short hop to Anime. Her current favorites are Twelve Kingdoms, Hunter x Hunter, Fushigi Yuugi and Lodoss Wars OVA. We have Lsst Exile sitting on the shelf, waiting to be watched.
It is sorta ironic Mom is also the hard core RPG gamer in the family. I don't know how many times some games store clerk has tried to convince her her grandson would like this game better. -.- She always gets a kick out of them realizing the little old lady is buying the game for herself.
Dad's not too big into anime though. But, that's mostly because he has trouble with subtitles and he expects high quality acting in anything he watches. I know it is just a matter of me finding the right thing to show him. ^^

There is nothing that gets me angrier than not being taken seriously by store clerks because I am female and 48. I usually end up getting their "respect" when I display my knowledge, and I tend to go back to those places just to talk to them. Not a single friend of mine likes Anime or RPG's. My childrens' friends always think it's cool I play viedo games and watch Anime. Been doing both for almost 13 years. Have been reading Fantasy and SciFi for more than 35 years. Still remember the first SciFi book I ever read, "The Man Who Folded Himself" by David Gerrold. I had read it because he wrote the original Star Trek episode, "The Trouble With Tribbles". Been reading SciFi since.

It really does help to know others share your interests. Helps you to know you're normal.
I've been lucky over the years that friends have shared some of my interests, however, no one has ever liked Anime and video games, except my children's friends.
Anime , video games and Science Fiction are such a part of my life that it's hard not talking about it with someone, except my family, and lately some of my reading habits are definately different than my families so I can't even discuss what I'm reading on ff.net. New friends help a lot.

"Slaves of Fate" is temporarily on hold, due to personal issues. I am continuing it, but the next update might take several more weeks. I'm sorry for the delay, but the story will continue. I just have to sit back and think about a thing or two first. On the bright side of things, that means that I'm currently writing on the next chapter of "Simply Love".

You know I love both of your stories, so "Simply Love" is fine with me, espescially after that DREADFUL cliffhanger of an ending. Of course I know Goku isn't dead, but THEY don't.... HeeHee. All I can say is it's early morning and I'm in a torture them mood. BIG fangirl smile and sigh.

You think *that* was dreadful? Maybe I should hand out Nii's secret Bunny stocks before posting the next chapter... ;D But don't worry... I'm a sucker for happy endings. Unless, of course, someone challanges me to write a bad ending.

Don't you dare write a bad ending! I love 'happily ever after', but a nice status que will do, too. Besides, didn't we all agree of not letting anyone else influence us to write something we hadn't intended? What did you say? The first sentence of this post? Eh...

Oh, there you go with your tiny little teases.
A bad ending? NO WAY. Not with our guys. They must be tortured sufficiently during the story and then drive into the sunset at the end of it. They don't have to be totally happy, just in one piece (or at least on the mend).
Someone tell me why I have this big grin on my face when I think of torturing them? I really think I need that mental check-up .
