Sorry I haven't been around, everyone. Been working on getting better and catching up with the mountains of schoolwork and working full-time. 'tis tiring and I haven't had a moment to write. I hope to be back into full swing soon.

Evil, addicting...heh, I'm enjoying it so far. Have to wait for the next volume to come out now.
Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to get back into writing soon.

Addicting, yes, but evil?? No way. ;D All 9 volumes of the original Saiyuki manga are out and then beginning in August the RELOAD mangas will start. So, have you found a favorite character yet? I hope you will get back into writing again, too. I really enjoyed the stories that you wrote and I look forward to reading more by you.

9 is out already? I knew it was coming out this month...man, I need to get my hands on that. A fun evil. Here's a question for you Saiyuki fans: what's the difference between the regular DVDs and the Double Barrel Collection?
*whines 'cause she also needs to get the next DVD for Chrno Crusade*
As for my favorite...I took to Hakkai right away and have never changed my mind. Need to add him to my list of characters to someday cosplay. Outfit looks simple enough, his accessories are another story. That and I found amusement with his vehicle 'cause I also drive a Jeep.

Yay! another Hakkai fan! I reckon that deserves another *wave hello* and *welcome* you have to see if cesmith answers to your question. and perhaps some others to answer your other question. i don't own any saiyuki dvds or anything, i just wait patiently for it to come on cable. hehe! will wait patiently..i am sure the saiyuki plotbunnies will have their day with you and look forward to what you may come up with! since i have read some of your stories (out of curiosity) and thay are really good. much love - zan yes yes! it's out now, even here in far flung Singapore, in fact I have a copy in my hands!!!! its only three hours old (of the bookshelves!)

GAH! You know how far behind I am on stories? Okay, not really since I tend to do one-shots. *arms herself with a squeaky hammer* Bring on those plot bunnies - I'll show them what I'm made of. *L* At this time, I don't have any plans to write Saiyuki fics, but maybe someday...
For the moment, I'm trying to clean up stuff I started but have yet to finish.

Mmm, I love Hakkai, too. Gojyo is a close second, because we are in some ways alike, but as you, I immediately took Hakkai to my heart. Sorry, don't know anything about Double Barrel Collection. Haven't even heard about it. I do own the regular DVDs, though. As for finishing what's been started, but not finished... yeah, I know what you mean.

Speaking of...I need to stop sketching and finish my fic. Moving is evil...all my work on this one from when I started it like 2 years ago is everywhere now. Found what I could and I'm basically starting from scratch.

Dang...I haven't been here in forever. It isn't because I don't like you guys - real life has a lot of demands, but I haven't stopped writing. Things are still crazy and will probably only get crazier, but...ah well, that's life.
Anyway, while I still haven't tried my hand at a Saiyuki fic yet (even though I'm all caught up on what is out in terms of manga in the US...still working on Reload Gunlock, but I'm not very fond of it right now), I will be cosplaying as Hakkai for conventions next year. I'm still gonna also cosplay Preventer Duo because it's fun. I've put Ed aside until I can finish it properly.
Well, I've gotta run again. Just wanted to stop in and say that I'm alive and leave three fics in apology for my absence.

Hello again. ;D
What conventions will you be going to next year? I just got home from Otakon and am hoping to go to Ohayokon in January. They are so much fun. I look forward to your sharing a picture of you dressed up as Hakkai.
(Runs off to check out new fictions.)

Ooooh...wish I had gone to Otakon this year, but I had a seminar that weekend.
Anyway, I will definitely be at Anime Boston again and I am going to try for Otakon next year and maybe ConnectiCon again (think about Llamacon since it's small and won't cost much). I'm also hoping to have a very special Hakkai for Otakon since I'll be missing the Sanzo for my group at the very least (he's only going to Anime Boston).
But I still love cosplaying Preventer Duo.

I had once thought about cos-playing Sanzo. The outfit *seemed* easy enough to make but I never got around to getting it much beyond the initial planning stage and considering how much attention people get when they are dressed up, that ended up for the better since I don't like the spotlight much. Also, it's always so hot in August that the thought of an extra layer or two of clothing makes me melt. (And my son almost refused to be seen with me if I did.)
Gunlock has its good and bad moments. I think the 2nd DVD came out a short while ago and the next one should be soon. The stories were better when they stuck closer to the manga. Sadly, our translations are catching up to the Japanese releases and soon there will be long spans between the manga unless you are lucky enough to get each months chapters on-line. When I was at Otakon, Kinokuniya had the *just released* volume 7 of the Japanese language release of RELOAD featuring Youkai/Hakkai (oh and some other character(Goku of course) but I was just staring at Hakkai. ;D)
Did you ever find out the answer to your Double Barrel question?
