I am so very, very sorry that I haven't been on this board lately. I do still live and I'm (trying) to write. I've been reposting a few things here and there and I recently managed to write a little drabble. "Just a Little" Gravitation Fandom Housed at FFN and Gurabiteshiyon www.fanfiction.net/s/3046330/1/Anyone can reach me at my LiveJournal account, which I keep slightly better track of. heh. sockio.livejournal.com/profileThings have been a blur since the end of last year when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. www.fmnetnews.com/pages/basics.htmlCombined with a host of other health issues that come with it, TMJ, IBS, memory loss, dizziness, etc - I hope this will perhaps give a kind of explanation as to why I keep seeming to pop in and out of fandom. I'm still here, just...not as good with updating and keeping track of things as I use to be. Nothing really exciting to report, life wise, other than today is my birthday. ^_^ I've taken the day off work, I get paid today, and I plan to kick back and relax a bit. I'm hoping inspiration will kick me upside the head soon, as I don't like to keep my stories on hold anymore than the people that read them do. I think that's about it. Hopefully my brain will stop deflating and I'll keep better track of things. *L*

Thank you for sharing the information about FMS. If you don't mind the personal question, what are some of your treatments?
I read your Gravitation story. It was nice. I really liked the way you kept Shuichi in control of himself and concerned enough for Yuki that he was able to risk his wrath to re-enter the bedroom and care for him. The ending was touching too. It's nice to see Shuichi acting in a more mature way than he is usually portrayed in fandom and in the series too.

*L* The giant scrolling happy birthday made me grin like you wouldn't believe. hehe. Thank you cesmith! ;D
Actually, since I'm broke and with some not-so-great insurance, I haven't been receiving a lot of treatment. I can't swallow pills and it's been a nightmare trying to find a Dr. that won't give me freaking time-released pills to try. *grrr* They don't work right if you crush them, so I've just been dealing however I can.
Hydrocodone is a Godsend. *nod*
I have recently, however, found a Fibro specialist in town. I booked an appointment with him and have been patiently waiting for that date (the 25th) to arrive. If he can help me, I'll be more than happy to post the results of any treatments here. ^_^
Zan -
I like virtual hugs. heh. ;D *snuggles*

You're welcome
I can truly commiserate about the pill swallowing problem. All my life I have had to chew pills and some taste God awful and as you say, the time released ones don't work right if they are chewed. Over time and with lots of practice I have learned to swallow capsules and pills the size of Tylenol. My vitamins still need to be bitten into at least three pieces. YUCK
Best of luck on your appointment on the 25th. Having a good Dr. is really important for long term care. Let me add a virtual hug too. *HUGS*

I was just hoping that your appointment went well and that treatments were decided on and started.

Man, I am ditzy. I keep forgetting all about this board. *L* Just as well, I haven't been able to write in forever. *sigh* Just a quick update, really.
I've seen the Rheumatologist twice now. I've gotten a couple of prescriptions, Ambien to help me sleep at night and a muscle relaxer to help keep me asleep. Now we're testing out differnt antidepressant to help manage some of the pain. The good news is I have been feeling better. ^_^
Sadly, I'm more broke now than I've ever been. o.O; *chuckle* Specialist are just a wheeeee bit expensive. heh. Work has been....ugh. Let's not go there. But I have the next two days off and I really, really, really, really, really, really want to write on the 17th chapter of One Bad Week.
That story will kill me one day, I swear. It's driving me nuts that I can't finish it. I think I'm all written out. *L* But I'm going to see what I can come up with. *nod*
*crosses fingers*

I'm glad that you have been feeling better, it's the most important thing.
2 days off? In a row? Those are the nicest words I know. ;D
As for being broke, that's why I read a lot of fanfiction and still work at Barnes and Noble (30% off of my books compensates nicely for average pay) as well as my nursery school job (but I actually have been happy at both jobs, surprisingly). What type of work do you do?
As for writing, I'm sure you will be inspired to write again. If the story is driving you nuts to finish it, you won't have any other choice but to write.

I hope your health improves and that your new medication will help you feel better. As for writing, I agree with CEsmith - inspiration will come to you when you least expect it. Also, some extra rest will work miracles for creativity.
