Just a question.
How many people here also write original stories?
If so, would anyone be interested if a board like this was created for original stories? [Or are they already some?]

Well, *rubs back of head* I do write some original stuff, but at the moment it's either all on hold (eh heh) or it's for my art projects to be turned into comics. Plus that, original fiction is a bit tetchy, at least for me, because it really is something that is wholly the product of the author. Hm.

I write originals. Unfortunately, I've never been able to finish any epics, though I have quite a few ideas... ideas I'd actually like to talk about with others. So yeah, I'd definitely be interested. It'd be fun.

How many people here also write original stories? I write original stories. If you look at my post signature, you'll notice subtle begging for everyone to read and review my primary, Life of the Silver Tear. Hint hint... If so, would anyone be interested if a board like this was created for original stories? [Or are they already some?] You're in luck. There's a site called Dream and Write. The original administrator left a while ago, and I was voted in as the replacement, so let me invite you to give it a try. The site can also be rather good if you're just trying to write fan fiction, poetry (there's sections for it, but I'm not very big into poetry), and there's even boards for Debate and Philosophy.

There is one now. ;D Feel free to advertise and discuss as to your heart's content. On a general notice, you can advertise your original works in your own section, if you plan to connect it to your fan name. I can't give you a board section for your original author name, unfortunately.

I started out writing original stories a LONG time ago. I took a rather long break from writing and only got back into it just under a year ago starting with fanfiction... and I'm still working on a few originals here and there. ^^ My pen name for my original stuff is "Twitt"... unless it's at a site that combines fan/original fiction (like AnimeSpiral.com or MediaMiner.org). Here's a link to the main place I keep my originals: www.fictionpress.com/~twittJust in case you're interested. ^^ (And I'm sure many of us write original stuff.) OH! One other side note. MediaMiner.org's forum does have a section dedicated to discussing/trading original fiction. Here's the link to the forum: forum.mediaminer.org

Actually, I know about Mediaminer, but I can't really stand it, for somewhat personal reasons, because I did feel that while their spammer did something wrong, they shouldn't have returned the favour like that.
^_~ Will check out.

Yea, I write original fiction. First I started writing poetry, then got into fanfiction, and then back to writing short stories. Now I write fanfiction, poetry, and short stories. I have a few plot punnies for original stories, but for some reason they seem to stay that way. Anyway, here's my original fiction; www.fictionpress.com/~terrafire;} ~VGT~
