Thanks everyone. ^^
As for what I plan to study... I've been seriously considering either English, Elementary Education, or possibly both. I know for sure I'll be focusing on creative writing, but for a SOLID job, being an elementary school teacher looks good. Especially since I like kids and all. So. ^^;

Kwaah! ^_^ Congrats Ms. D-chan! An elementary school teacher sounds like a lot of fun... (I wouldn't be able to handle all those kids >>;; ) Anyhoos, best of luck! (You probably don't need it though) ^_^ Once again, congrats, and keep up the great work! Ja!

I plan to major in psychology. It's something I always wanted to do. I only had Psychology for a day before my classes got rearranged at the high school, but just that glimpse looked AMAZINGLY fun. I want to take a course or two of that, myself.

Yea, I took it in the begining of the year and it was fun. I don't care if it takes 8 years to get my digree, I really want to do it. The only thing standing in my way is the money. Don't have enough of that, so I have to pray for help.

*muses* But if you're going to a school in-state, then there are TONS of scholarships and grants for you. My biggest problem is that my school of choice is very much out-of-state, so a lot of scholarships I COULD have, I can't because of where I want to go.
Plus I'm Caucasion, which cuts me out of oh, maybe thousands of scholarships? And I hate athletics, not to mention I hated school and only really brought up my grades this last year...
Finding scholarships suck. ^^; At least there are a plethora of writing scholarships. Pity they hardly bring in much, but money is money.

Speaking from MANY years of experience of working with young children, being an Elementary School teacher can be an incredibly rewarding and frustrating career. Nothing can compare with watching a child discover new things about themselves and the world around them. Nothing can be more frustrating than not being able to see this wonder and excitement in all the children you will meet. But you keep trying.
