This challenge counts for the "First Annual Writer's Contest"!
Stories/chapters existing prior to this contest are not qualified for entry! (Please make up your mind. A 2 yes 2 no vote situation doesn't really make me want to change the rules.)Summertime, vacation time! Challenge #6 has a very simple premise: Write a story about a character (or several characters) of your choice a)planning and b)preparing a vacation trip. The story should focus on this timeframe. The story should end before your character(s) leave for their destination! The keyword is " sunshine". Additional rules for this contest: - Your story should have a length between 800 and 6000 words.
- The genre is of your choice.
- Lime/Lemon is not allowed.
- The rating can range from K to T.
- The story can play in any fandom-universe of your choice.
Deadline for submissions is: 3. July 2005Voting will start on July 4th, and end on July 18th.

Well, it always helps to look through the other threads in a section first. For example, try ffnetauthors.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=42days&action=display&thread=1095714044Also, there's an entire thread dedicated to questions concerning the Challenges. This thread is only for posting your story information according to the challenge guideline. As far as the 'grading/voting' is concerned, I sincerly hope that no one drags people in to do favor-votes. This contest was designed to help authors develope their skills, not run a popularity contest. Feel free to ask all other question in the appropriate thread. Thank you!

... Sorry if my reply wasn't what you expected. See, there's nothing wrong with asking questions and being a newbie, but in my book, it's appropriate to at least check out if the information you're looking for is already available. (Otherwise, why bother with things like an information thread, or a 'Helpdesk' anyway, if no one bothers to use it?) I'm looking forward to your contest entry. Good luck.
