What an awesome idea this board is-- and I think I especially like the idea of authors getting their own little boards. *grin*
Anyway, hello! I'm D-chan, and at this point in time I'm 17 years old, entering my senior year in high school, and already know what I want to do with my life. I write fanfiction for enjoyment, and while it's fun I also see it as practice for my ambitions to become a bestselling novelist.
Fandoms I've been in long enough to earn some form of a reputation for are the Sailormoon Crossovers, Megami Kouhosei (Candidate for Goddess), Majutsushi Orphen, and Saiyuki. Some people might also recognize me from anime crossovers, Kingdom Hearts, DNAngel, and Fruits Basket. I've been writing on fanfiction.net for a little over four years-- which means I've also been putting up with its drastic changes. ^^; I'm very stubborn and refuse to leave. While there are some things I don't like, the feedback can be good, and I get more constructive criticism there than anywhere else.
Some might also know me because of some controversy I've caused in one way or another. That's me-- ever causing trouble, whether I intend to, or it jumps out and bites me and I make things worse by retaliating. ^^;
I enjoy constructive criticism over mindless praise, and I love constructive reviews more than just any old reviews.
Ever since "leaving" the Sailormoon Crossovers fandom I've been getting heavily into shounen ai/yaoi writing. That's the majority of what I write, but I still dabble in het as well as shoujo ai/yuri. I'm most active in Saiyuki at the moment.
Outside of writing I like drawing and reading. Neither are quite as big passions as my one for writing, but they can come close.
I'll take well-written fanfiction over poorly-written, not-even-spell-checked writing any day.
And... I think that takes care of the basics. XD This board rocks. Hope to have fun with you guys in the future. <3
