Challenge #10 - Adjectives, Adverbs and other Insects
This challenge is supposed to sharpen your awareness for the way you use adjectives (like: great, abundant, shy) and adverbs (like: greatly, abundantly, shyly) in your story.
Your mission, should you dare to accept it, is to write your story regularly (part 1) and then go and strike out all the adjectives and adverbs. If necessary, you can leave them in (like in "said quietly"), but as a general rule for your rewrite of part two, adjectives and adverbs should be avoided. Instead, try to replace them with verbs or nouns that precisely say what you mean.
Example adjective: A large, huge, sky high house. - A skyscraper.
Example adverb: He plays the ball aggressively at the other player. - He slams the ball at the other player.

- You can submit as many stories as you like for this contest!
- Your story should have a length between 600 and 6000 words for both parts together.
- The genre your is choice.
- Lime/Lemon is not allowed. (Whatever genders: No gratuitous sex scenes, please.)
- Gore fests are not allowed. (Mowing the lawn is excluded from this rule.)
- The rating can range from K to T.
- The story can play in any fandom-universe of your choice.
- The contest remains open for submissions after the 42-days period, but entries submitted after the day
