^^ I found this article interesting, although, you shouldn't read it if you haven't read all the books out so far and/or you don't want to read any spoilers: www.knight2king.net/Knight2King/weasleyisourking.html^^; Normally, I wouldn't believe this sort of thing... but with the proof and such they have, they do bring up some pretty nice points! ^^ If I come across any other interesting articles, I'll post them up as well! Ja!

DUDE. That's some crazy stuff right there. The points seem valid until they begin scrabbling for stones with stuff like "born in a bin". -That- is a bit of a stretch. But some of the more prominent themes seem to point in that direction. It is the mark of an amateur writer to make one character omnipresent, omnipotent, even within such terms as Dumbledore's - this article gives Rowling much more credit. Neat-o XD

I so agree with Karots. Some of the points are so well-researched, and quite valid, some are really going a bit far, showing they've tried to make everything show connections.
I'm not sure about the whole chessboard pieces thing, but it's all very interesting. Might use the chessboard idea to help plan out my story!
Very strange, I must admit. Cool.
Am looking forward to any other articles like this. I'll probably never be quite sure about this idea again.

*giggles* Yeah... a lot of the points did seem a bit farfetched...
Although, it would be interesting if the chess game was indeed foreshadowing... (doubt it though...)
Oh! As for other interesting news:
[Unfortunately, I don't have an official article for this one... (I'll look harder for it)]
Two students of a High School wanted to organize a Halo tournament in order to raise money for the victims of the tsunami. Given the popularity of the game, they predicted a large percentage of the student population to participate, allowing them to raise a great deal of money for the cause.
However, the school had shut down their tournament, even though the two students had taken the precaution of handing out slips to parents warning them of the violent nature of the game.
It would seem that the school is a bit on the paranoid side... apparently, not too long before, they had cancelled an event of some kind... out of respect for the Wiccan religion.
^^; I'll see if I can find more! (Hopefully I'll actually get an article for the next one!)
Ja!
