Is that add stories as in add links to recommended stories or actually add stories. *slightly confused*

Yea, I'm a bit confused at that too.

I've registered one of those "C2-communities", and apparently it works like a giant "Fanfic rec" list, just without the poster saying why they like the fic. This is how the steps work: -you sign up to a C2-community of your choice (or you create one, but they say it's a lot of work you'll have to do -you can submit the Fic-IDs via a function similar to the "favorite fics" of the "Login" management area. This way, an "archive" of fics for a specific topic is created. ( Edit: The community owner has to register you as "staff" for that, so you will be scouting for good fics for the community) -people can read your suggestion, and members of the community can be notified about new entries to the "archive" www.fanfiction.net/c2/18/0/1/ <--- Looks like this. I don't know if that will do any good, though... just that you'll have some people sifting through all fics, and some just signing up to read the "recommended" ones.

Thanks for the explanation--I had no clue what it was all about!

what I haven't figured out is where to find a listing of the communities. The only way so far I've discovered to find them is when someone's a member of one.

News from ffnet: I recommend you check out your profiles... ffnet more or less made a long sentence from mine. You'll also have to activate URLs so that they work as a link...

Aren't you exaggerating a bit? I mean, there was a 'read only' for one day last month, and one outage due to electrical problems... I'd hardly call that 'a lot'.
As for your fav authors problem... How about if you just go to your own ffnet page (you can save that URL in your browser) and click on that to see your favorite authors and stories? You don't have to log in for doing that, and the information is there as well.
One stupid question... but... what is so important in your bios that the world has to learn without delay?

Ooops. Just realised I could log in. Goddamn time difference. And yeah, my bio is way overdue (as in a month or so) for an update. Its WAY too long. Never realised So must fix. Miles and miles of useless rebecca-style crap. >.< Will do that now.
