Hello I've been trying to upload a new story for the past two days and I keep getting this error message I recall encountering this problem before a while back. So I just waited a couple of days and then it seemed to resolve itself. However it's nearing on the third day, now and I have written in to ff support, but no word on it yet. At first I thought it was the file document, but it seemed to upload fine on other sites. Then I thought it was pc related so I tried uploading from different pc's (four in total), but the problem still persists! So it isn't pc nor file related so I'm guessing there must be something wrong with maybe my account. I don't know. I'm able to login. leave signed reviews and add stories to C2's. Just I can't do the upload document and hence I cannot upload any stories! zan can anyone help

Whee! After three days I managed to be able to upload. Don't know what the problem was. More pc gremlins I expect!

Today I got two emails from ff.net letting me know that the next chapters in stories I am reading have been posted. One of the stories was posted on 12/27, the other on 1/3, and I am just receiving the notification today. I have yet to receive an email saying the next chapter to my story has been posted (I posted it on 1/2). Has anyone else been having this problem too?

On another note...has anyone experienced any other problems with ff, over the last two weeks I've had virus alerts whilst reading on ff pages...at first hubby thought it was browser sensitive, my laptop uses IE, and was just updated recently. So he tried to fix it, it still happens albeit intermittently.
Then last week I was using our main pc and this one is Mozilla. it happened then too.
ANyone have any clue why this should happen. Its very random btw. It could be a review page I'm looking at, a story or just the story index page. And I would be looking at the same one later and its fine.
Hubby talks about false positives at me and I'm kind of sceptical about it!
Any light on this would be welcome!

Wow, I've never had that happen on any site. Is it still happening? You could always ask the support area of ff.net about it if it continues.
As for the author alerts, they seem to finally be coming through now.
