I don't get any author alert from ff.net. I didn't get KarotsaMused's challenge fic, and I didn't get my own. (I got myself on author alert just for checking.) Is it only me, or do you guys have the same problem?

Well, I'm not getting reviews (and I know I've gotten four within the last 24 hours) ... but ff.net has trouble like this sometimes. It blows over within a few days at most, and everything gets sorted out. But if it lasts more than a few days, I suppose you could sharpen a stick and go bother the webmasters, harrowed as they might be.

I recieved both reviews plus author alerts from D-chan and KarotsaMused. *confused glance*
Seems like I'm lucky!

I have just recieved a lot of author alerts, among them Karot's and my own. So the problem seems to have been solved now.

An old problem seems to have resurfaced. Today I got two emails from ff.net letting me know that the next chapters in stories I am reading have been posted. One of the stories was posted on 12/27, the other on 1/3, and I am just receiving the notification today. I have yet to receive an email saying the next chapter to my story has been posted (I posted it on 1/2). Has anyone else been having this problem too?

It is the whole shebang! Author alerts Story Alerts PM's Review Alerts I think anything posted after mid-December got caught up in the now famous 'ff traffic', I think they are just trickling back in and may become a deluge quite quickly. I guess over the holidays people are posting up everywhere so I guess they may have had problems with sending out alerts of any kind. I think the problem should iron itself out. This sometimes happen for me if ff gets a busy weekend!!
