I have written a few shorts as well. The first ever attempt was "The Sharpshooter" www.fanfiction.net/s/1860901/1/I can not remember why I wrote it. But the reason why I wrote it the way it is, was the thought "there are always a lot of accidents with bows, daggers and swords and the injuries are always the same, tighs, shoulders and so one. But there are a *lot* more targets to hit on a male, so why do not use them. " *veg* The second was "Glorfindel's Fall" www.fanfiction.net/s/1956503/1/A friend of mine sent me a wonderful drawing of Glorfindel and it inpsired me to this story. I wrote a sequel to this one, called "To be a father" www.fanfiction.net/s/1966653/1/It is a little fill in between chapter 3 and the epilogue of "Fall" The other two were answers to different challenges. "Of grapes and Elflings" www.fanfiction.net/s/2034678/1/and "Tired" www.fanfiction.net/s/2042024/1/"Tired" is slightly different to everything I had written so far, and it was a really new experience for me to do it. my greates fear by writing this story was that my boss would catch me writing, when I was supposed to work but I had to do it at once before I forget about the things I wanted to write. and I only stretched my lunch break 30 minutes. *LOL* Althelas

wahey! i write short stories too! and sadly, only short stories....i cant seem to manage anything longer.....anyone got any ideas how to...prolong them? I have trouble beating 1200 words per story/chapter....i feel like i will drown in description but then when i click Word Count there is almost nothing....and i still don't want to add anything in.....I always feel like I will go on and on and on and on......
