This is an official notice of blame.
(Legally, you're now required to pay for the methodone.)
If I had an alley, this'd be right up it. An alley lined with the dumpsters of churches, philosophers' guilds, obscure references (Hieronymous Bosch!!), Hitchhouse humor, and omgcanIslashthispleasepleaseokaythanks.
My Saiyuki addiction, of course, comes into play as well. ^^; The conception of God (such as in the Einstein lines on page four--not playing dice, but playing poker in the dark and perpetually /smiling/ *awe at the metaphor-twisting*) is so spider!TenpouHakkai.
The plotbunnies are terrible, but...geez, I'm not Wodehouse, Adams, or Connie Willis--let alone PTerry and GNeil.
So, yes. Legal blame and whatnot. Feel the wrath!

I accept blame, but seeing as I'm broke you'll have to go without your methodone fix. Moreso than my glee at your discovering the land of Good Omens, I grin maniacally - you made the same frickin' connection I did. (Although I fear for Armaggeddon if the man in charge had one myopic green eye. A plotbunny just bit me in the arse for the sake of playing with the possibilities for Satanic counterparts. Oh, dear.) I'd not trust myself to do a GO/Saiyuki crossover 'cause I'd muck it up so badly, but there are some images that absolutely -refuse- to leave my brain. And hell, one can always play with symbolism that nobody else understands ;D Plotbunnies are terrible, terrible, wonderful things. You had better darn well come up with something for me to read My own theological ramblings are echoing empty in that fandom. *sigh* if it's not fluff, nobody really cares to read it.

I like reading non fluffy in any fandom ^^ There are only a few good omen fics I like because they tend to be so fluffy. *feeds kurots plot bunny*

Yuh. And you know, sometimes a *bit* of Good Omens fluff is okay. It's to be expected when you're dealing with an angel. But geez, it's overdone way too much. Then again, I make Crowley angst far too often. *scratches back of head* There's a happy median somewhere. It's just got to be found.

I've no problem with fluff (in moderation), but it's got to be well-written fluff, which ff.net tends to lack. Have you read "Lent" by somebody or another? That one's adorable. Also that story on ff.net with Oscar Wilde, because--Oscar Wilde. Hitting on Aziraphale. *dies*
The GO/Saiyuki crossover is so ridiculously tempting, and /so/ dangerous. *fights off with electric stick*
(Not that I've got a very stupid, puffy plotbunny with Crowley written all over it. You'd think I'd get something deeper, with this material. But of course not. *facepalms*)

There's fluff and there is fluff. I like something fluffy with some bite and structure to it, much like curry bread or angel food cake. Fluffy like cotton candy or wonder bread don't do it for me.

Oh -expletive deleted-!
There should be some kind of warning on threads like this. For Example:
WARNING: Active Plotbunny Breeding Ground. Bunnies are ineffable, adorable, armed and dangerous.
Tenpou and God, smiling all the time. There's practically a theodicy begging to be syllogized there.
Crowley, Sanzo, and the subject of temptation (I can't say any more about that one because there is no way in hell I could legally post it on ffnet and I really don't want to write it down).
Dog and Hakuryu discussing the hard hard life of living up to one's master's expectations...
AAAAAHHH!! *runs screaming*

WL: Why, yes, yes I have read it! I think it's in my 'favorites' file, even. ;D I laughed -so- hard. And, well, GO does lead to very deep thinking at times, but in others, it's very hard to resist the Crowley bug. I haven't done too well in that department Salma: Very true. It's fun to find needles in your cotton candy. Or at least some mildly witty banter. One takes what one can get on eff eff dot net. (ooh. that rhymed!) Treneka: Sorry, heeh, we breed plotbunnies. They multiply like...well...bunnies. As for GO/Saiyuki crossovers, I always wondered what would happen if Kenren and Crowley were put together in the same room. Especially if they were predisposed *not* to get along. Meanwhile, Aziraphale would flit happily around Tenpou's library, examining and digging through the mess, restraining the near-insurmountable urge to organize and reading, reading, reading, even if Ten-chan's store is notably lacking in misprint bibles. And then Adam and Dog would come across Goku-chan, at which point Goku would go and tug on Konzen's sleeve, begging yet again for a puppy. (Breakroom reference! Breakroom reference! *smacks own hand*) I will leave Tenpou and God to you o.O; That's a bit too big for this little kid to handle. But since you wrote it down, San-chan and Crowley are fair game

Oh, I don't know; I've always thought of Tenpou's library as something more like Borges' "Library of Babel"--infinite, containing all possible books in all possible combinations, both "true" and "false." ^^ All the answers are in there, but nobody reads the right books.*
*I swear I'm stealing that from somebody's fic.
...Hakkai needs to cosplay Aziraphale.

That in and of itself is a GO/Saiyuki crossover. And something else. Tenpou the librarian (Bard: That doesn't rhyme with Marion! Gah!) Um. I'm going to go shove my head under a faucet after reading that strikeout. It's one of the best ways to dislodge rabid plotbunnies. Yeesh. Although Kouryuu or baby Gonou would both make a good Wensleydale...And Lirin could quite easily be Pepper. Although I might have more fun if that happened to be Gojyo. *snrk* leaving Adam for Goku. Which is...strangely fitting...o.O; See? Faucet! *goes to douse self now*

for everyone to see here on this here forum...
crowley and zira go dancing - zira does his old-fashioned moves - crowley torn between shock, derision and laughing his butt off - and the saiyuki charas walk in.
the reactions to zira alone should be more than priceless, methinks.
