Not legal to smoke/vote/sign contracts for another year, though smoking I could do if I wanted as kids here start at 14 and have no problem buying.
Technically, I can't drink 'til I'm 18, but that is never in practice. We're not crazy drinkers because it's not a taboo. I first tasted wine when I was two, just a sip, and I didn't like it... Now I drink an occasional glass of wine or champagne, and during parties I might have a cocktail or two.

Smoking. Not legal here until 18, but my Daughter has been smoking since she was 14, so I guess it's not too hard to get them here too. Would love to get her to stop since both my parents have had lung cancer, Dad from smoking, Mom from second hand and the other Grandfather had Asthma and Emphasema(?) so we wish she would stop.
I grew up drinking a little wine, usually mixed with ginger ale. I am a dry person now, by choice. I can't hold more than a few sips. Give me a virgin Strawberry Daqueri or Pina Colada and I'm happy. ;D

Smoking isn't legal here either until you're 18, but it's not hard to get. I don't smoke, never have, and never will. Oh, unless you count that time when I was seven years old, and two big girls, ten years old, and I stood in the port to their house and tried smoking. That's the time when I decided not to start smoking. ;D Drinking, well, I was totally dry a couple of years, after having definitely too much at a party when I was seventeen. (Legal to drink from you're 18 yes, but we started drinking at parties when we were 15. ) That was embarrassing so I stopped drinking totally for two years. Now I drink a little, but not very much.

Surprisingly I can hold my drink, and have never been drunk. But I don't go crazy and drink 10 billion cocktails, at most 3.
I don't like the smell of smoke, and have never tried. I don't plan on trying either.
Oops, class is over! Ciao

That was interesting. A thread goes from an author introduction to a long discussion on alcoholic beverages. Only on the internet.

;D In the last week alone we have had 3 snow storms and about 60 cm of snow. It is supposed to be Spring in only a couple of weeks and our high temperature for the day is around 0 C. Spring cannot come soon enough.

Yep, I can vouch for three snow storms in the past week, and I heard that there's more to come my way. I live on an island, one would think that there'd be less snow.
