Hello and thanks for stopping by. I live over here in Southern USA, so, if your on the other side of the world and getting on at lunch break and I'm here, don't expect anything rational or smart to come from me, because its about 1:OO am here. Well, lets see, I enjoy reading and watching most any scifi or anime/manga. I don't know half as much manga as I should and I know less of it half as less as I should like. Oh, and I like Lotr. I have many names, I'm kinda like Aragorn off of Lotr I geuss. I'm known as Lizard, Seerandgel, Almounds, the L of Lez, and Slizzie-chan(with or with out the hyphen) are some of the pennames you can find me using. If that worries you, I'm sorry. This is no place for the sane. Insane and sane alike are welcome. Feel free to mangle/chop/scar or other wise known as "post" where you want to. Tata! (will someone please tell me that they caught the pun up there!)

Hello there! I have seen you around here, but I don't think I have given you a proper welcome, so here it is: WELCOME! When it comes to LotR, I love the books, must have read them over 20 times. The films... well, they're very good, and if I hadn't read the books I probably would have loved them. But it's too much difference between books and films that I can be really happy with the movie version of the story. I can of course understand that they have to take away some stuff, but why change what's left? Again, welcome, and I hope you'll have a nice time here.

Hi *waves* About the anime, if you haven't watched Saiyuki, you're missing out a ton of great stuff (but its OT, 16+) and you won't understand some of the threads up here... a lot of them refer to it, now that I think. LoTR. I'm one that prefered the film, finding the book rather complicated. I keep trying to re-read it though. None of us are sane here, I think it's a requirement. Happy writing!

No no, this *presents almond poundcake wrapped in celophane and two bricks of lembas wrapped in leaves* is hello. In any case, pleasure to meet you. Welcome to the board. I feel terribly ignorant in that I've never read any LotR fanfic, but perhaps I'll sample some of yours. With regards to this being no place for the sane... really. Sanity is predicated on one's common perception of reality to those around one. In that respect, we are the most sane and well-adjusted group you're likely to come across. Oh, and I'm currently dealing in ocean-side real estate in Nebraska...

Thats what I mean, we're insane to be so sane, if we were really sane we wouldn't be so crazy, know what I mean? Yeah, I can just see you all puzzling THAT one out. Good Luck.

*snort* I know all about rabid plot bunnies. Trust me all Lotr fans, avoid http:www.aragorn-legolas.5u.com tis a very scary place, join the yahoo group and you get stampeaded (is that a word?) on the first day. *shudders*
But yeah, I got into anime when I was 8 (Sailor Moon) and have been on and off it, so far no really bad bunnies have bitten me. Lucky Me.

Welcome to the pit of insanity . . . I mean the proboards. But yeah, I got into anime when I was 8 (Sailor Moon) and have been on and off it, so far no really bad bunnies have bitten me. Lucky Me. It'd be interesting to know what ones you're familiar with. And you're fortunate to have had no "bad bunnies". Let's hope that fortune lasts.

Ganhiem: I know some of Inuyasha, DBZ, DB, Digimon, and Gundam. I know lots of Sailor Moon, I've read 85% of the manga! Go me. There are a few more... but my brain is frazzled right now. I have a movie night for friends I gotta prepare for. tata!
