Exactly which Saiyuki boy is the weakest/strongest? Though it hurts me to say it, Sanzo seems to be the one who gets injured most often. :'(However, he is the only one who can subdue Goku without his limiter. Hakkai's the one who has killed the most, but he's schizophrenic. Gojyo bears scars, which none of the others do (minus point). My head thinks too much...

Depends on what aspect you're looking at. Physically, Goku is easily the strongest. As far as tactics go, Hakkai has proven to be absolutely amazing. I'm not certain how to catagorize Gojyo or Sanzo, but... I do know that Gojyo tends to act on his emotions, and knows when he shouldn't. So that leaves Sanzo... *muses* Well... I suppose he's got the abstract elements (like the sutra magic) down. ^^;
Weaknesses are a lot harder for me, actually. I can confidently say Sanzo's physically the weakest, but... *muses* Actually, he, Hakkai, and Gojyo have let their emotions drag them down before, and if it hadn't been for Goku they wouldn't have been able to pick themselves up again. (Yes, this would be the Kami-sama arc.)
... hrm. That is actually a hard question to really answer. I'll have to get back to you on the weaknesses.
However, no matter which way it goes, I do know that whatever weaknesses they have in the group, more than likely one person in the party has a strength to make up for it. That's what makes their teamwork so impenetrable.

Weakest: physically, either Gojyo or Sanzo, though I think that Gojyo's stronger than Sanzo. character-wise... definately a tough question. They all have weaknesses. Sanzo: goes through the roof whenever someone questions/doubts his ability or 'manliness', inability to handle softer emotions, lets anger control him, need for a 'group' to belong to - at the same time totally rejects others, depressions and suicidal thoughts (outside of that, he's a typical case for someone who suffers from traumatic distress syndrom), strong insecurities about his own worth carelessness, dependency on drugs to keep himself calm/distracted a "two second shock delay" tendency to think in a situation where he should just run
Hakkai: incredibly easy to anger, strong anger depressions and suicidal tendencies strong attachment to Hakaryuu and the others alcoholic (? - IMO, he does have a problem without alcohol) guilt over being unable to help Kannan causes him to take incredible risks for his friends pedantic (extreme form of having a 'structured life') hates being a demon, hates demons
(and more once I have more time to type) ;D
