I think he'd make a very pretty girl... grenn dress of course... and he/she would be following Hakkai around like a puppy... and if he was a guy he would copy Hakkai in every way.

Oh dear, the image... Hakkai with a shadow. That could get disturbing in all sorts of ways. Would Hakuryuu know how to cook as well?
Hmm. Speaking of food, does Hakuryuu hunt, or do they have to find him petrol stations from time to time?
And I wonder what would happen if local teenagers tried to take him for a joyride while the boys were off eating or sleeping or whatnot.
Hakuryuu's wild ride... There's a thought.

If Hakuryuu thought it would help Hakkai, he'd probably try to learn. I don't think he'd have had too much experience with it.
Petrol stations? Doesn't Hakkai feed him? Maybe he is given fomulated food - like Brock makes food for Pikachu and all the other Pokemon.

In a lot of the episodes you always see Hakkai feeding Hakuryuu whatever they are eating. They have never mentioned him needing petrol or refilling when he is a jeep.
There is a cute RELOAD episode Where Hakuryuu has his own adventures. It's taken from the Manga and it's called Hakuryuu's Little Adventure. It's really cute. And has one of my favorite Goku to Hakuryuu lines...Hakuryuu, if you don't hurry back I'm going to eat you.

According to OptiMoose he eats raw meat. Saw it in Simply Love earlier tonight, while re-reading it. But I wouldn't assume that was all he ate. Never really considered it. Petrols stations. *snort* I love it. And of course you never see them refilling him. What kind of a crazy scene is that? "Please no cigarettes or naked flames..." Lol. Be a bit weird, feeding a dragon petrol... >.<

*blushes* Okay, well, now that you guys mention it I am remembering all the stories where Hakuryuu gets fed regular sorts of things. I think my brain just likes to go on holiday sometimes. Of course, if by some wierd chance, Hakuryuu got stuck in his jeep form...
cesmith: I deeply envy you! The only Saiyuki I have access to is the Gensomaden anime and volumes 1-5 of the manga. Wish they'd publish faster over here.
Anyway, I just had a very wierd thought: Gojyo gets slapped with a paternity suit and is forced to appear on Jerry Springer. Admittedly, it's an unspeakably dumb idea, but can you imagine that group on a talk show?

Yeah, and can you believe it, Minakura squeezed Hazel and Gato into the Jeep along with Sanzo & gang. They seemed to go along pretty well, too.

This one is all OptiMoose's fault but I let it loose here to roam.
Saiyuki in space.

Sounds a little like Anthey Oom's 'Mirai' arcs.

Wow! there went my morning. Just finished reading all three of those. Good news is that besides the story being great I think it killed the plot bunny.

;D Yes, great story. A pity Mirai 3 seems to be abandoned.
