I was browsing Tokyo Toshokan (Link removed) (currently the best Japanese related torrent site, heaps of anime, manga, music etc) this evening and found a little torrent that may be of interest to any and all Saiyuki fans here ;D [Kazuya Minekura artbook] Salty Dog III.
To find it, run a search with any of the words in the title or look under the raws section.
I already have a copy of this in scans but from the size of the file 78meg compared to the one I already have 17meg, I am redownloading. There is gorgeous art in here including a really hot Kougaiji pic and many, many others. I highly recommend this download for any fans.
If you are not bit torrent capable or the torrent dies and you still want this, I can always send it to you though You Send It or something like that, just message or e-mail me.

Salty Dog 3 is a beautiful collection of Saiyuki pictures. Over time I have found several of these pictures individually, but it is really nice to have them together. Some of them, like Goku's tongue tattooed with the word start, is not one of my favorites, but there are some great ones too, especially of Hakkai. ;D I know I said it before, but thanks Zell for the link.

I thought I would share this torrent link with everyone here. Saiyuki Gunlock ep 8 with "english" subs. Now before anyone gets too excited, please be aware these are rips from the Hong Kong DVDs. I finally got my ripping program to work again and am going to rip the rest of the eps not yet fansubbed. I am doing this by request from a friend. The english is not wonderful but it's better than having no subs as yet.
(Link removed)
I am still trying to work out how to post them on Tokyo Toshokan... Torrent Spy is a lot easier. These eps are approx 175 meg in size and encoded with DivX 5 using Gordian Knot.
ETA: After much frustration, I have finally worked out how to post on Tokyo Toshokan. Also posted the Monkey Magic soundtrack there and now episode 9 of Gunlock is up. I wont post anymore for about 2 or 3 days though. You can also find episode 9 on Torrent Spy at (Link removed)

Journey to the Rest is possibly one of the best Saiyuki websites. You really must go there and see for yourself www.madkukkii.com/saiyuuki/saiyuuki.html, but I wanted to share some of her latest information, so the following announcement is borrowed from JTTR: 3/28/2006: STARS OF SCREEN AND STAGE! ZERO-SUM celebrated its fourth anniversary today with a May 2006 issue (complete with Sanzo cover!) that not only included one of the most startling Saiyuki RELOAD chapters ever, but also a pair of big announcements. The first is that the upcoming anime OVA is titled "Saiyuki RELOAD -burial-" and will include all six segments of the manga's "Burial" arc! Whether the OVA itself will be one long movie or will come out as several chapters has not yet been announced, but more details are promised in the next issue. In the meantime, the Sanzo-ikkou will await fans on stage in Tokyo and Osaka, as the group Axle presents a live-action stage adaptation of Minekura-sensei's Saiyuki! Several small color photos were printed with the announcement, showing events from the Rikudou arc. The show will have seven performances at Tokyo's Studio V Akasaka on May 18-22, and then conclude with three in Osaka at Matsushita IMP Hall on June 3-4. Tickets are 4800 yen each and go on sale April 9. More information is at www.himawari.net/axle/! (Photos and more to come later today!) Again, this information is borrowed from Kagenami Q from her website Journey to the Rest. You really need to visit this website for loads of Saiyuki information.

I'm just dying to see the next chapter of Saiyuki, her little tease about it is killing me.
I suppose the live action version will have others playing our guys but the 4 seiyuu are all handsome enough I wish it could really be them on stage. ( ;D Nope, my Ishida Akira fixation has not gone away at all. ;D)
OK, just finished visiting Journey to the Rest and in her LJ she has more information about the Live stage show, including pictures. Visit here and see...

Question.
Ok, I know that this is going to sound dumb, but here it goes. Saiyuki RELOAD was made into anime right? Then why can I only find the manga? I like watching the anime before reading the manga. I know that this is a pointless question, but I do need an answer before I lose it!

Saiyuki RELOAD was made into an anime AND you can buy all the DVDs of it in the store (unfortunately they are different voices from the original Saiyuki). If you want to download a fansubbed version, you can find them here..
(LInk removed) (Just keep scrolling down until you find Saiyuki RELOAD and Gunlock.)
Gunlock, the next season of Saiyuki is also licensed and about to be released in the States. 11 episodes have been fansubbed (also by anime-kraze) and the rest were HK subs on this torrent site...

Thanks Ces. It's just that I couldn't find it. All the video stores around me are too cheap. Anyway, there's different voices from the original Saiyuki!? That's about half the reason why I like Saiyuki in the first place, because the voices fit the characters so well. Does the voices fit the characters in RELOAD?

I have to admit, I really loved the original English VAs too. Especially Hakkai and Gojyo. The RELOAD and Gunlock VAs, in comparison, are terrible. I have heard that some people DO like them (however I am not one of them ), but I now prefer the Japanese seiyuu anyway (...mmm Ishida Akira ;D)
Here is a link to a discussion we had on the board concerning the *new* VAs from Geneon.

For all who don't know, Tokyosho has been closed down by the US Deparment of Justice for illegal filesharing.
I'd like to ask you to no longer post any links to torrent pages in the threads. What you do in private message is your own thing. ;-)

Admin, I read your post and went to Tokyo Toshokan's website and it came right up, same as normal. I clicked on the *If you missed our special, check it out here* and I saw the message you are referring to. After a few minutes the TT site came back up. I'm not really sure how real this post is, since it was posted on April Fools day. Game Faqs did a similar post yesterday too, that it had been taken down by court order. Today they are asking their visitors to rate their April Fools joke.

Mhm, yeah, seems like I fell for their April Fool's joke. Still, please don't post any more fileshare links.

Looked real enough to me too at first and if I hadn't seen the Gamefaqs one also, I might have been more worried (the IP number was a nice touch, most of us don't know our own computer address. ;D)
And as for not posting fileshare links in posts, no problem, it's easy enough to send a message to someone on the MB.

Episode 13 of Gunlock is up on our favorite file sharing site. (email me if you need a link). I loved Ani-Kraze's comment they attached to the file...
A series about men who don't ask for directions. ;D (Oh so true about our foursome.)
For anyone who is buying the series, the first DVD is out and I believe the second one will be out shortly.
