Dwellers - They say that an Angel's wings are the extension of his soul.
The first of the Dwellers story introduces the characters at a point in time before they meet.

Ex Adyto Cordis - The boy's lids fluttered open, revealing intense amethyst colored eyes. Brilliant blue with a tinge of black, a bad omen if Koumyou had ever seen one.
This story revolves around Kouryuu and how he became Sanzo and was send on his mission to save the world.

the "other story" i mentioned in the review was the "devil & devil" manga you mentioned in the first dwellers story. i think the background and the setting for it is a unique one for our fave characters. i'm most curious to find how you will have Nii in this. (that is; if you do intend to introduce him to the mix). 'cos somehow this is exactly the sort of place i can see him in, with all sorts of machiavellian possibilities to play with. :) ;)

Ohhh... Devil&Devil is a manga series I'm rather fond of. :) I only have it in scanlations, but if it ever shows up licensed in a language I understand, I'll definately go and buy it. Devil&Devil revolves around two arch enemies - a devil and an angel - who fell down from the 'skies' (literally) during their 101st fight. Both are mortally wounded, so to survive they inhabit the bodies of two teens (who were both equally on the brink of death after running into trouble on different ends of town. Both, angel and devil, need to regain an angel or devil body in order to separate from their host. For the time being, they are stranded on Earth. As if the situation wasn't bad enough, it turns out that the two of them are identical twins (even if you really can't tell from the art)... and so the two have to face "family life". :)
In case you are on IRC or AIM, I could dcc the entire set of 15 volumes it to you.

Thanks. I'm glad you find the setting unique. :) It's very much fun to write in, that much is for sure. And Nii will show up, yes. :)

(And the current status of the characters is:
Xan - is drunk (Decurio Marcello filled him up with vodka)
Tadan - suffers from a serious case of magic allergy
Jo - ponders drowning Tadan in the river Reie
Duon - can't stand Lucius
Lucius - can't stand neither Duon nor Xan
Mirinea - is still trapped
Zea - is inspecting the damage of an attack on Lyra kinship

The author - is enjoying writing a lot, but has to admit that certain characters can be a pain in the groin. ;D

A small update... yes, I'm still alive. :)
The DwellerVerse is progressing nicely and is currently at 40.000+ words, 2 completed chapters, chapter 3 half completed and a lot of scenes finished that belong to later chapters.
The first draft is continued to get posted at the abovementioned LJ account, though I'm currently creating mirror accounts with insanejournals.com and greatestjournal.com.
