Swallow The Moon


My baby. I've invested a lot into this story - and as of today, I'd say it's about half over. This last half is the hardest to write - creating chaos is easy, but bringing things to an end is always hard for me. But I have a goal, so I'll see it through.

This story has brought me a lot of friends - if nothing else, I owe it for that. ;D

And the funny thing is, the first chapter was written because a site I frequent was having a songfic contest, & I'd never written a songfic before. I'd also never tried my hand at smut. I combined these two things, wanting to prepare for the contest by writing a songfic, & added a song I'd always loved & that brought beautiful, sensual images to my mind whenever I heard it - "Jupiter" by Jewel. All together I ended up with something I'm actually quite proud of.

Oh, & the contest was cancelled. But I've grown to really enjoy writing songfics.

When I was uploading StM to adultfanfiction.net (which I will not link to, for that would break the 'no NC-17' rule on this site), my sister, darthelwig, suggested I leave the 'allow chapter additions' box checked 'yes', in case I decided to make this a story with each chapter a different songfic, as opposed to writing a bunch of unconnected songfics - and thus was Swallow The Moon truly born. ;D

If you have any questions or comments about the story, leave 'em here. I'll do my best to answer each & every one... should there even be any. *lol*
